It doesn’t matter what political party  you belong  to but it  does matter for you  to  vote. Voting is a privilege that some countries do not have. The United States  citizens do  have that right. We might not all agree with  the policies that are going on  right now. We as Americans have the chance to change what could happen in the future. If you do not vote you are throwing away  your right to complain about what our government does.  you would be diminishing your chance to actually undo the policies  that you do not agree with. Why I say this it is because you  did not lift  your finger to vote and let your thoughts be heard. November 2, 2010 is the day  you can help push America  where you would  love this country to go. SO please vote America it is your duty as an American citizen.

Pact would include Taliban figures in government, withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops

WASHINGTON — Secret talks to end the war in Afghanistan have begun between representatives of the Taliban and the government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, The Washington Post reported on its website Tuesday night.

Afghan and Arab sources cited by the Post said they believe for the first time that Taliban representatives are fully authorized to speak for the Quetta Shura, the Afghan Taliban organization based in Pakistan, and its leader, Mohammad Omar, according to the newspaper. The sources requested anonymity to discuss the development.

Omar's representatives have shunned negotiations in the past, insisting that all foreign troops withdraw first. However, the Post reported that its sources said the Quetta Shura has begun to talk about a comprehensive agreement that would include participation of some Taliban figures in the government and the withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops

Report: Taliban, Afghan leaders in secret talks to end war

This war needs to end. It is an illegal war. It shouldn’t of happened in the first place. Too many people have died. Innocent civilians have been murdered by our own soldiers.

Our soldiers need to come home they are losing their minds. Just recently in the news, we heard about American soldiers collecting body parts from those they have killed. It is time to end this. No one wins in this war. There are no winners.

Too many lives have been lost. Most soldiers do not even know what  they are fighting for. They are tired of fighting.

It is time to take care of are own for a change. It is time for each nation to take care of them selves.

Outrage in Guatemala over US study on sex diseases

GUATEMALA CITY — Guatemalans on Saturday slammed a US confession that it led a 1940s study in the Central American country in which hundreds of people were deliberately infected with sexually transmitted diseases.

"No matter how much of a superpower it is, the United States cannot do this kind of experimentation," Nery Rodenas, the chief of the human rights office at the archbishop of Guatemala's office, told reporters.

"They used Guatemalans as lab rats. It is important that family members receive some kind of compensation."

Lawmaker Zury Rios also urged compensation for not only the victims, but the nation as a whole.

"It is just not enough to say you are sorry. We need to be compensated as a (sovereign) State, maybe with the funding of a solid sex and reproductive health program," she insisted.

In a phone conversation with President Alvaro Colom on Friday, US President Barack Obama expressed his deep regret for the experiment conducted by US public health researchers in Guatemala between 1946 and 1948, and apologized "to all those affected."

Outrage in Guatemala over US study on sex diseases

The United States has used people for experiments for years, even their own people. Why does it surprise people to hear about this now?   The United States still use people today for experimentation. There has been stories and new articles time after time about experiments. The United States are probably as bad as Hitler was when experimenting on the Jews. People with common sense know these things. It shouldn’t be a surprise. People have tried to warn others, but  some do not listen. Now will you listen to the warnings and the stories that are being told? Do you honestly think that a country like the united states wouldn’t do something so horrible to people even their own people? I am a citizen of the United States, born and raised here. We the people are being betrayed by our own government. It is time for us to stand together. It is time for us to change the government around, From the president to the CIA. We need to rebuild our country. We need to find people that are true Americans, if not by blood then by heart. We need people who are not persuaded by greed. We need someone who actually  stands up for the rights of Americans, near and far. The United States  Government must come down. We need to stand together and make ourselves strong. We need to speak out against the tyranny of our government. We need someone who stands up for us. Someone who looks out for us. We need someone who we can actually say they are here for us and not themselves.
